Partners
We are immensely grateful to the following partners who have helped in different capacities to make this film possible. This list is not exhaustive, but includes both key partners who helped in production, as well as community groups and organizations that have supported our film throughout its journey to get to where we are today. While the majority of our team's work has been volunteer-based, we've relied on community partners both for our initial fundraising efforts, as well as in-kind and screening support along the way. We couldn't be doing this without you !

Our Environmental Efforts
While filming Beyond Crisis, we took great care to reduce the film's emissions footprint. Production was bullfrogpowered with 100% clean, green electricity. Travel-related emissions were offset using Gold Standard-certified offsets from Less.

Some of our other environmental efforts include:
We executed a very low-impact film production in comparison to many other feature films, in part by maximizing our resourcefulness and creativity as a team over the course of the film’s production. We did this by first busing to all of the climate mobilizations we covered, as well as by planning a single cross-Canada / U.S. road trip to capture the majority of interview subjects featured in the film (as opposed to coordinating multiple trips).
We built off of our own film material using media donated and collected from around the world, used under license. This approach allowed us to craft a truly global perspective of the climate crisis, without having to travel to each place the film features independently, which would have been both high-impact and expensive. This approach also allowed us to work within a small budget, maximizing our film’s potential as a small, independent team. For all emissions and electricity use we found ourselves unable to avoid, we partnered with Canadian clean energy provider Bullfrog Power to help offset this use.
When filming, we worked with local filmmakers and used local equipment suppliers whenever possible, both to gain the benefit of a local perspective and to reduce the impact of our travel. We also ate local, mainly vegetarian food when it was available to us.
